Entrepreneurship Academy – (the volume of credit, 33 ECTS (which can be attended by any graduate students) developed by VMU Centre for Enterprise Practises) is a training program that is based on active advisory methods, and helps to develop entrepreneurial qualities and competences that enable the student to develop their own businesses or succeed at their career.
During the Entrepreneurship Academy, participants:
- Through mentors and blogging, they develop their entrepreneurial competencies, such as self-assessment, making connections, teamwork, activity, creativity, problem-solving;
- Participate in activities of Entrepreneurship Laboratories in interdisciplinary teams. The activities include a practical solution to the challenges presented by enterprises or organizations.
- Collaborate with representatives of businesses and social organizations involved in the implementation of the program as experts, sponsors and mentors (the program is developed in cooperation with 50 partners and organizations);
- Apply methods of developing creativity and ideas: Business Model Canvas, Lego Serious Play, Design Thinking, Points of View, etc.
This program has been rated and selected among the top 50 successful examples of university-business collaboration in Europe and the world by the European Commission’s research consortium “University-Business Cooperation in Europe
